Privacy

The short version: I collect your email address so I can send you the letter, and nothing else. You can leave in one click, any time.

What's collected

When you subscribe, your email address goes to Buttondown, the email service that sends the letter. You get one email asking you to confirm; nothing is sent until you do. The service records when you subscribed and confirmed, and whether each letter was delivered, opened or clicked. I use those totals to see whether the letter is useful. I don't sell or share the list, and I don't add anyone who didn't sign up themselves.

What isn't

This site has no ads, no tracking scripts and no cookies of its own. Your address never goes to an AI model: the agent that helps write the letter works on public sources, not on the subscriber list.

Leaving and deleting

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works in one click. If you want your address deleted from the email service entirely, reply to any letter and ask.

Where the letter is stored

Every letter is published on this site and kept in the archive. Corrections are made on the page with a dated note, and material ones are mentioned in the next email.
